Meet Raúl Stefano | Raúl Stefano Singer/Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Raúl Stefano and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Raúl, why did you pursue a creative career?
You are born with this talent. I remember that at the age of 5, that curiosity for music began. I listened to different types of musical genres since I was little, singing, and you develop it over time and you realize that you connect with people through music.
I’m on this wonderful journey to connect with people, to share what God has given me: singing and bringing joy to hearts.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have participated in events such as the Independent Music World Series (IMWS). I was recognized among the top 14 in the South-East 2006 competition, ranking 7th. In 2007, I was featured on Don Francisco’s contest program on El Chacal, winning first place.
I competed in the U.S.A. Songwriting Competition, placing among the top 20 in 2007.
I participated in GLOBAL SOUND 2014, which featured 28 countries, reaching the semifinals.
And in 2019, I was mentioned at the Latin Grammys with the song “Amante del Amor,” a romantic salsa song produced by Tony Succar.
What sets me apart as an artist is the creative side of each song, where I put all my passion, love, and good energy into it so it reaches a high frequency and connects with people. Reaching people’s hearts is what excites me. Discipline, dedication, and persistence are the tools that have helped me get to where I am. Nothing in life comes easy, but I’ve always seen every challenge as a learning curve for the next level. I’ve learned that in the toughest moments, only faith and discipline help you keep going, and that every test should be seen as a lesson.
I want people to be able to listen to my music and be motivated to believe that dreams can come true with dedication and hard work.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are plenty of places to have fun here in Florida. I consider myself a person who loves the sand, sun, and sea. I would definitely take it to the beach, like Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach, South Beach, and then end it all at Disney’s theme parks in Orlando. That would be my week of fun places.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I believe that no one makes it on their own. I have people who help me in this beautiful journey. I’ve been lucky to have such influential people in my life, starting with producer Rey Nerio Perez , manager and Sound engenier Tom Harney , my Good friend producer Tony Succar Grammy winner.
