Meet Rhonda B | Realtor and Esthetican

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda B and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhonda, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
Whew! Where do I start? As a parent you want to be the best role model for them as much as possible, but we are not perfect human beings so we will have are lows and are highs. I let my daughter know at a very early age that its okay to take risks without knowing the outcome. When my daughter was four years old, I left my corporate job to be a full time Real Estate agent and go to school to become an Esthetician. Even though, I had a plan I was unsure on how everything was going to turn out especially being a single mom. My daughter has been there through it all ,the good, the bad and the ugly. Being an entrepreneur over three different businesses. My daughter who is now 8 years old has financial literacy and she knows what it takes to run a business now. So, she knows that even though its scary at first the outcome can be so rewarding and beautiful so, she shouldnt be scared to try new things and go after her dreams. My daughter is my number one fan she tells people what I do in hopes of bringing me new clients which she has done. I now know that I have impacted my daughters life in a very positive way and I pray she continues to show up like God sent her wherever she decides to go.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Ive always knew I wanted to be my own boss since I was a kid. I first started Appointed Mindz which is a christian clothing brand that spreads the word of God through apparel. After my grandmothers passing I started seek God for clarity and purpose. God gave the vision to start a brand on based off of his word. I then ventured into Real estate when I bought my first home. Since it wasn’t a good experience I wanted to help others not go through what I went through when purchasing or selling their home. Not long after I got my Esthtician license and opened up my own spa. At the end of the day, I love to help and give people an experience that you cannot find anywhere else.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Who doesn’t love a good brunch? If me and my best-friend are linking we are different going to catch up over a good ol brunch. Now I love to eat and travel so, I dont necessarily have a favorite spot but I just recently went to one of the newest restaurants in Tampa called Sal y Mar. Its located in the new area in Tampa called midtown and the food and mimosas were amazing but thats not all the view is what got me. I love me a nice view. We would then go get Mani and Pedis at Pink & White and end the day with her delicious cooking and a bottle of our favorite wine.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, Shout out to God for always showing out in my life. Without knowing God I would not be where I am at today! Last but not least shout out to my beautiful daughter and my amazing boyfriend for always encouraging me to keep going and having my back when things get tough.
