We had the good fortune of connecting with Richard Ribeiro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Richard, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
My business partner and I came up with the idea of opening up a coffee shop, and having it be car related in some way. We both are avid car enthusiasts and would always meet up at coffee shops, we wanted to combine the two worlds together, specialty coffee with an automotive theme.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
1 thing that sets us apart from any other coffee shop is, we offer unique and different style coffee drinks. We want you to have a unique experience to specialty coffee. One of our most popular iced drinks is the Sakura Midnight, Sakura Midnight is an iced drink we created using cherry blossom organic powder , limeade, honey, topped off with our house made cold brew, shaken with rosemary garnish. Another fan favorite is our very popular UBE BE LATTE, purple in color it attracts our clients, and the taste is so good you almost need to order 2.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to Superwow Coffee first and for most, after grabbing some amazing coffee i would take them to several local eateries. Drastix being one of them. Another spot would be JEEPNEY in wynnwood, the filipino bbq is a must.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a huge shout out to Cat & Cloud Coffee, without them we wouldn’t be in the position we are today. Also the Caffewerks team, with always supplying us the essential we need to run and build our mobile and store front coffee shop. Our sister business Superwow Factory , the team is always pushing to move us forward.
