Hi Robbie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Honestly, the most important factor is the genuine connection we have with our community. Cosmic Coven isn’t just about selling beautiful crystals or tarot decks; it’s about being a trusted, authentic resource on people’s spiritual paths.

Because we are proudly founded on diverse backgrounds—LGBT, veteran, Latinx, and woman-owned—our brand naturally comes from a place of deep intention and lived experience. Our customers feel that. They feel seen, supported, and like they are truly part of a welcoming ‘coven.’ That foundation of intentionality and community trust is what allows us to succeed, because at the end of the day, people are looking for real connection and guidance, and we are committed to providing it.

What truly differentiates us is our unwavering commitment to authenticity, inclusivity, and quality craftsmanship. Cosmic Coven is built on the intersection of our identities—we are proudly LGBT, veteran, Latinx/woman-owned—which means everything we do comes from a place of deep, lived intention.

Unlike many others, we don’t just source and resell. We hand-carve our crystals and meticulously craft our own jewelry and candles in-house. This dedication to being hands-on ensures that the intentional energy our community seeks is infused into every single product. We are a welcoming coven, not just a storefront, and that personal connection is what sets us apart.

Getting here has been a dedicated hustle, not an easy road. The biggest initial challenge was building credibility as a self-funded company run by people from underrepresented communities.

The ultimate hurdle was scaling while maintaining our quality and personal touch. When you hand-craft and infuse intention into every single item, it’s a balancing act to meet growing demand without sacrificing the soul of the product. We overcame this by making the choice to prioritize integrity over rapid, unchecked growth.

We hired and trained a fantastic team to keep our crafting standards sky-high and invested in the Coven Ambassadors who ensure our customer service remains personal.

The biggest lesson? Integrity is your most valuable asset. Choosing quality materials and honoring our ethical sourcing standards—even when it takes more time or costs more—builds lasting trust.
