Meet Ron Jones | CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ron Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ron, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Collective Minds Inc is a company that’s dedicated to promoting artists and small businesses by giving them the exposure they deserve. We are also a technology company. We promote artists and businesses through our site, mobile app, social media, and magazine. Finally we develop mobile apps and provide other technical solutions such as graphic design, consultations and more. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to show their talents or services and we strive to provide that.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We started in 2014 and started as a free social media promotion company. After we gained 10,000 followers we pivoted to a magazine and shouted out the top talent that we received via social media. A few years later we moved to technology and started developing apps and websites for our clients as well as handling their digital presence and marketing. It has been a long road for us but we are happy with how far we have come and look to continue to grow. We learned that helping people will always come back around in a positive way. We want people to know that Collective Minds Inc is a company built by the people for the people. Anyone can work with us and take their brand to the next level.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spots are in Atlanta. First we would go out to eat at any local spot that suits them then I would proceed to take them on a tour around the city followed by a game of basketball at Piedmont park. After that we would visit the CNN center and get a tour coupled with the world of coke and finally end our night at the beautiful GA Aquarium

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Kendall Humphrey is our product manager and helps manage our intern teams as well as foment new business relationships. Di’Nasia Berry is our head of design and controls our UX, leads our UX teams. She also designs logos, graphic design work, websites and all of our mobile apps.
