We had the good fortune of connecting with Roschelle Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roschelle, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
So I’ve always loved entertaining friends and family and somehow in college I was the designated bartender . I used to work at Cafe Iguana Pines as well as island parties and carnival events with different bartending groups before the pandemic started . Once places started to reopen I knew I had to find another way to regain my additional income and one of my friends suggested that I start by selling drinks to get my name out . I started by selling my cocktails in liquor bottles then the demand grew and I started selling individual bottles . Shortly after many of my drink customers started referring me for events and that’s how Pour Decisions was born .

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What makes pour decisions different is that I strive to always provide or create quality cocktails for every event . I literally love what I do so it never feels like I’m working . One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you can’t please everyone but if you put out good energy it will come back to you . Most of my customers have been from word of mouth referrals . I do my best to provide excellent service for every client .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To be honest if I’m not working I’m working out . I go to Ican Fitness and it’s basically my second home . But I’m more of a brunch girl . I love bacon bitch , Bar Rita , tap 42 or anywhere I can have unlimited mimosas lol .
