We had the good fortune of connecting with Rosemarie Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rosemarie, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
The foundation of my success is rooted in the values and principles I absorbed while growing up. Raised by a determined immigrant mother, I learned life’s essential lessons early, discovering the significance of hard work and resilience. Starting in elementary school, I explored small business ventures to save for personal desires, realizing the gratification of earning. This experience ignited my pursuit of goals and underscored the value of self-reliance, as I understood that nothing came without effort. In this environment, a strong work ethic naturally took hold, driving me to consistently strive for personal growth and contribute positively to those around me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My journey in the world of marketing has been anything but easy. I recently made a tough decision to step away from pursuing a higher doctoral degree and instead follow my true passion. My college background is in Health Sciences, completely unrelated to my current path. It’s been quite a ride, and even though it’s had its challenges, I’m genuinely excited about what I do now. I find real joy in creating content and managing accounts for businesses and influencers. This experience has taught me that changing direction is okay, even if it’s just before graduation – it’s never too late to embrace a new path.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Embarking on an exciting Miami trip with my best friend, we’d have an incredible week ahead. We’d start with beachside breakfasts and South Beach fun, then dive into art at Pérez Museum and the charm of Little Havana. We’d enjoy a peaceful day at Key Biscayne, and the thrill of the Everglades and Zoo Miami. Urban explorations in the Design District, a boat day on Biscayne Bay, and shopping in Coconut Grove would lead to a lively night in Wynwood, taking in the street art scene. We’d also hit up Gekko for drinks, a hotspot with Bad Bunny vibes, and enjoy Latin music afterward. Wrapping up, a leisurely brunch, Bal Harbour Shops, and a sunset cruise would complete our unforgettable Miami experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout my mentor Shannon Bray, my Co-Founder and Best Friend. She has contributed so much of her time and guidance in order to help me get to where I am today. I have never met someone so thoughtful of others and someone as compassionate as her. She is the epitome of a best friend.
