We had the good fortune of connecting with Rosh Rebel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rosh, how do you think about risk?
Risks are necessary in moving forward, in growing overall. I have no problems taking them. I just ensure I get into risk-management mode where I get to look at the pros and cons and how a risk could really play a huge part in my moving forward. It’s either a success or a valuable lesson.A true dreamer has to take risks.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a very passionate Artiste who absolutely enjoys serving the world with my talent. I enjoy being on stage. It’s where I most come alive. What sets me a part is the fact that my voice is unique. I have my own sound and I’m thankful for that. I am most proud of my continued growth and strength on my journey. I’ve endured some losses so I’m extremely proud of my strength in standing strong.. I got to where I am professionally as I decided to follow my dream/calling and the goals I set out for myself. It was never easy and still is but my refusal to be defeated, keeps me going. Nothing in life is always easy. You’ve got to push through the challenges especially when you know the end is bound to be beautiful. I’ve learned many lessons along the way, including this main one I’d love to share; You have to be there for you, first and foremost. Do not depend on others to carry your weight. Do all you can for you. It is your dream afterall. Don’t expect others to see your vision. I want the world to know that I am a representation of strength and I want to show up for them, to entertain, motivate, inspire, challenge and share my journey with them in the most genuine form.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oooouu, I’d take my bestie to Portland right here in Jamaica. It’s such a beautiful parish with beautiful people! Safety is of no concern. It’s simply amazing. We’d make a visit to Boston Jerk where all mouth-watering desires would be satisfied. Not being a meat-eater, I’d dig into some lovely seafood of course but trust that all is there to satisfy whatever it is that is desired. We’d spend the night at a lovely Hotel in the Parish of course and in the morning of next day, be on our way to Frenchman’s cove Beach, one of the top beaches in the parish, just 15 minutes away from the town to let the lovely sea breeze and water do its do! Of course we’d visit for that and the other evenings, one of the lovely restaurants lined situated conveniently throughout the town, too many to not have a few to choose from. Of course there’d been rafting on the Rio Grande as we listen to tales of the Parish by the lovely tour guide/Raft Guide. We couldn’t finish the stay, without fulfilling that booking to a hike on the Blue Mountain! Oh, what a joy that would be!!! Nature is absolutely beautiful!! A drive back to Montego with coconut drinking stops? Oh yes! Something that wouldn’t be forgotten. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
KALI GRN, a true Artiste, who, even though considered an underground Artiste, displays the passion and dedication it requires to thrive in the industry. He continues to take the necessary risks needed to propel his career and that is admirable.
