We had the good fortune of connecting with Roxana Karissa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roxana, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Creativity has always been part of my life, ever since I was a young child. It’s always been my outlet where I feel free and I get to express myself to the world. I’ve always known I was meant to be someone who created change and inspire others to do the same. Through my artistic and creative ways I’ve been able to do that.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Ever since I could remember I’ve always known I was different in a way. I remember I was around five and adults would come to me for advice, life advice, they would tell me their whole life stories, even today complete strangers do that. Growing up I knew I was here to create change and help and inspire others. And now that’s exactly what I’m doing. Through Social Media I found a place where I can be me and share my journey with millions of people. As a spiritual healer, entrepreneur and model I’ve helped myriads of people find themselves. I’ve healed and grown so much and now as I continue to do so I want to be there for others through their journeys as well. I want people to know that they’re not alone and they’re here for a reason, they have a purpose.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in Miami you get to experience something new everyday. The music, the people and places are full of energy and such a vibrant atmosphere. I would definitely take them to the beach, which is my favorite place to go to because of how peaceful and calm it is. Also different restaurants, museums, where they get to experience different cultures and meet amazing people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents and sister, having them by my side supporting, encouraging and believing in me have helped me tremendously and I’m grateful for that.
