We had the good fortune of connecting with Roxanne Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roxanne, what do you want people to remember about you?
I live kind. I act with kindness in everything I do. Living kind to me means, that I treat others repectfully, fairly and with authenticity. I believe my clients know that I give 100% of myself in what I do. I hope that when we have completed a transaction, that they walk away knowing I acted in a most kind professional manner. Kindness is my number one. Knowledge of the real estate market is of course extremely important however many people posses knowledge but do not know how to translate that knowledge into their practice. When I meet someone, my hope is that they first see that I am kind, intelligent and genuinine.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a true Florida native! I was born in Coral Gables and moved to Coconut Creek at the age of 6. I appreciate all that South Florida has to offer and that translates into my professional life. I am passionate about coastal living! A water view can bring a peace and calm unlike that of a city view. Waking up to an ocean breeze or a serene canal enhances your everyday life and makes it a little more special. Being a native helps with my real estate profession in that I am authentic in my understanding of living the Florida Lifestyle. Being a native in South Florida, allows me to better help my clients. I have extensive knowledge from living and working in various cities along the coast. This really comes into play when helping people looking to relocate to our area! Many realtors are transplants from other states but I am a true South Floridian.

I have stuck with a very simple mantra that has helped significantly in my career. Show up and give 100 percent! I am 100 % committed to my clients! I treat them with kindess, and respect! I am always considerate of their time and do my best to be timely and efficient in helping them to achieve their real estate dreams.

When starting a business there are always challenges. Finding clients to serve is always the biggest one! My main strategy in growing my business is forming relationships. Networking, local meet ups and events, making new friends and social media sites have been key factors in my growth. I always say , “Nice people send me nice people.” Referrals are absolutely another way I have been able to further establish myself in my career.

What I hope to create is a positive impact on my clients real estate experience! I help people live the Florida lifestyle by knowing the South Florida market inside and out, living my own life in the area and translating that information to provide the most insightful, and professional assistance with any real estate transaction.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love waterfront restaurants in the growing city of Pompano Beach. We have a beautiful ocean front restaurant called Oceanic! It is elegant, with wonderful seafood selections and excellent service. I love to support local artists as well! So I would take an out of town guest to the Nova Southeastern Art museum in Fort Lauderdale and the Broward Art Guild’s gallery also located in Fort Lauderdale.

I always take my friends and out of town clients to enjoy local music venues. Loch Bar in Mizner Park (Boca Raton) has great live music on Friday night’s as well as a great happy hours appetizers and drinks!!!

Louigis’ Tuscany Grill on the fantastic Las Olas Blvd in downtown Fort Lauderdale is where I go for many special occassion dinners. The Manager Gabriel treats you like family and the food and service are outstanding. You truly feel welcomed and cared for when you are there. It is a privately owned restaurant (not a chain) and it is a hidden gem in a sea of cookie cutter franchises and chain restaurants.

Living in South Florida allows for many watercraft activities. We enjoy Kayaking with Blue Moon Outdoor Adventures in Fort Lauderdale off the Middle River and Jet Ski rentals from American Watersports in Pompano Beach.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My daughter Violet has always been an inspiration to me! I have always said, “When I grow up, I want to be just like her”. She may not even know that I feel this way but it is true. She was one of the first people in my life that truly encouraged me to follow my passion for helping people with real estate. She said she could envision it and saw it as my life’s purpose. It is because of her that I finally had the strength to take a leap of faith and change my entire life to pursue my dream of becoming a realtor. I remember vividly standing in her room and her telling me she could see it and knew it was my purpose. That conversation propelled me forward to where I am today.
