We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Serna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ryan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Danny and I met at FIU’s MBA program and became friends on the very first day. We studied an MBA program that equipped us with the necessary tools to lead and run a business efficiently and effectively. Our goal was to make a positive impact on society and add value. We are determined to make a difference
We take pride in the social and environmental responsibility of our products. To ensure that our values are reflected in every aspect of our business, we hold our suppliers and partners to the highest ethical and sustainable standards. Our commitment to ethical sourcing means that we only work with companies and source products that meet strict criteria, including but not limited to being women-owned, minority-owned, socially responsible, and environmentally friendly
Moreover, Sednna is an online clothing platform focused on marketing independent brands that cater high quality apparel for men, women, and children that are constantly on the move. Our selection of products consider a combination of chic, classic, colorful, and fun designs.
The environment and social responsibility is what keeps us motivated and inspired. We are committed to generate positive change for people and our planet.
All our brands convey a mission of not only the utmost quality of products and materials, but also commitment towards social inclusiveness, environmental consciousness, and ethical sourcing.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets us apart is that we are doing something that nobody else is doing. By studying hard and being persistent we are where we are professionally. It was not easy but perseverance and making the effort on a daily basis helped us overcome the challenges. We want the world to know that we are promoting “our hemisphere” (North, South, and Central America) with the mission and values that our brand represents.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We dedicate this to the support of our families, partners, and closest friends – their patience and wisdom has helped us overcome any fears and provided the confidence to take the risks necessary to start this adventure together. We also have partnered up with two South American business women that help us source our collections and procure.
