We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabine Charles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabine, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My Thought Process behind starting my business was to have natural Queens like my self enjoy there natural journey, without having to break there pockets.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I learned how to braid at a very young age, I always liked getting my hair braided and seeing the finish looked it made me feel beautiful inside and out. Creating Crowned by B inspired me to let other women feel that same way, to let them know that no matter what curl pattern or texture your hair may be still adjust your crown and stand tall in the room. Being a business owner is not easy there are definitely some challenges and glory moments. The way I handle it is by being humble and giving every situation and client over to the most high. That when my client sits in my chair it would be different environments then anyone else chair.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend and I are both foodies, our first location would be wynnwood to try out all types of different restaurants. We would also bike ride on Hollywood beach. Visit different museums in down town Miami such as the Haitian heritage museum. Support tons of black owned business and vibe out to great soulful music

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I give all Glory to God First for providing me with the creative ideas. Thanks to my family and all my supporters for always pushing me to continue to go higher.
