We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrielle Lezeau and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabrielle, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
The end goal for illrotic is to be the sex-positive household name with physical locations where sexual wellness and education can happen for all. So illrotic can be known for making people feel comfortable discussing their sex lives and have fun enhancing it. My dream is to have illrotic sex shops with spaces for workshops, classes and events. You can shop or come to learn, expand your knowledge on different sex topics, kinks, fetishes or hear from a therapist or sex educator. I also want it to be a place where others can meet open like minded individuals.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is called illrotic. I started illrotic because I want everyone to unlearn shame and embrace their sexual energy especially women and even more importantly women of color. illrotic had many ups and downs and I’ve been able to overcome these challenges by remaining adaptable and open to pivoting my vision to be successful. I’m most proud of the illrotic community that has formed over the past year – I have an Instagram Live show I host every Wednesday 10pm EST where we all chat and learn and about diferent aspects of sex. We all get to be open, vulnerable and have some fun during. I recently launched illrotic approved sex toys and I am extremely proud of that… it’s been my dream!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite place here in Miami is Mandolin Aegean Bistro – the food is incredible, the service is top tier and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are in the Mediterranean! My way of enjoying miami is: Design District for shopping. Dinner at Mandolin Aegean Bistro. Parties at Soho Beach House. Wynwood bar hopping. Boat Day to enjoy the sun and water a different way. Vizcaya Botanical Museum is a must. Art Galleries and museums. And if you are into it… support your local entertainers and visit a strip club or two!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have so many people I can shoutout that got me to this point of illrotic! My best friends Durell and Nick were my first investors ever they believed in it when I wasn’t even sure what it was! My mentor Greg although a bit put off to hear his younger sister talk about sex he was fully in support of me stepping out and starting this venture. Kika, Kino and Manny – without you there would be no illrotic podcast!!!!! My fiancé has been my biggest cheerleader and supporter both financially and emotionally! My parents who I was afraid of telling for a longtime have been nothing but supportive and excited for every win big or small. My friends + family that continue to support, spread the word and never forget to cheer me on… thank you! I thank you all for believing in me when at times I fail to! xo
