We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrina Victoria and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sabrina, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve realized that entrepreneurship runs through my veins; it’s innate. Thriving under pressure, I always give my all, no matter what. My journey began during a toxic relationship. I needed financial independence in order to escape. Despite many ups and downs, I remember the exhilaration of earning my first $6,000 after years of financial struggle. That day I found a new empowerment and changed my entire outlook on life. Though the path hasn’t been easy, my vision and passion for business has kept me going.
What started as a means of survival has evolved into intentional and strategic entrepreneurship, fueled by creativity and a love for overcoming challenges. Reflecting on the past decade, I’m amazed by the progress I’ve made and the power I’ve gained to shape my own destiny.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy?
The journey to where I am today in business has been anything but easy. In fact, it’s been far from it. Entrepreneurship, I’ve learned, is a conscious choice—one not suited for the faint-hearted. Each day presents new adventures, challenges, and decisions to be made, often without a mentor to turn to. So, the responsibility falls squarely on my shoulders.
My strengths lie in making quick decisions and adapting swiftly to change. I stay away from worry and fear and stay focused on tasks that propel our business forward. Throughout the years my persistence and resilience have become ingrained in my approach—I refuse to give up, even during the toughest times when quitting seemed tempting.
What keeps me going is a crystal-clear vision of where I want to be. Despite the hardships encountered along the way. So, was it easy? Absolutely not. Is it easy now? Still, far from it. But the challenges, the uncertainties—they all fuel my determination to keep pushing forward.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Throughout my journey, I’ve learned invaluable lessons that have shaped both myself and my brand. One crucial lesson is the importance of self-reliance and the drive to make things happen, knowing that no one else will do it for you.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is the unwavering determination and resilience that fuel our story. It’s about embracing the joy and confidence that comes from years of hard work and growth. My journey carries years of pure grit and old-school hustle. Early on in my entrepreneurial journey I was driving around my near by neighborhoods in Boca Raton, picking up people’s garbage and flipping it on Offer Up and eBay, making $2000-$4000 per month. I was running an Airbnb out of my home. While simultaneously teaching myself how to run an online business. I was on 2-4 hours of sleep on any given night and driven by pure drive and determination to make it.
I’ve never wavered in my belief in myself and my abilities. My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the unstoppable force of a woman driven to succeed.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would stay at the Sea Gate Hotel in Delray Beach, right on the water. Gorgeous view and gorgeous hotel. We would visit the beach everyday and soak up with rays while eating some fruit and kombucha from the local Boys Farmers Market. A few days we would visit Atha yoga studio on Seacrest Blvd and I’d hope that they were having one of their monthly open mic nights were we could dance, sing and have good healthy food in the back open garden one night. For food, we would have to visit Ziree which makes my favorite sushi and of course Hawkers… everyone LOVES a street asian food.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Huge shout-out to my community, Her Nation. They believed in me from the very beginning, even though we had never met in person. And now years later, Her Nation is a thriving community filled with other women business owners. We are all doing our part to lift each other up!
