We had the good fortune of connecting with Samanta Bernadel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Samanta, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued an artistic or creative career because I have always been deeply passionate about self-expression and the power of art to convey emotions and ideas. Creativity is a fundamental part of who I am, and I believe that through art, I can inspire, connect with others, and make a positive impact on the beauty industry. I love doing my hair, my nails, my makeup. Sometimes when I need inspiration, I go on TikTok or YouTube, and I wanted to do the same, inspire people..This career allows me to follow my heart and bring my unique perspective on life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
“My art is a reflection”

My professional journey has been a fulfilling yet challenging one. It was not easy to get where I am today, but i’ve always been driven by my passion for (beauty) doing hair ,makeup ,and nails, outfits. I encountered many obstacles such as getting rejected by brands. I got so many nos but I overcame them by pitching myself to more brands, reaching out to them, emailing them, buy from them and tag them on my posts, ect. That helps a lot. Through these challenges, I’ve learned valuable lessons, such as never give up, have patience, don’t focus on the negative but more on the positive, always.

I want the world to know that my art is a reflection of a who I am as a brown skin girl, with curly hair. I love myself. My goal is to reach every little girl or anybody that looks just like me, help them to love their curly hair, skin, their body, and to know they are beautiful just the way they are.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My number one supporter is my mom. I don’t know what I would do without her, and my family and friends. I thank God everyday for them, they support me like no other.
