We had the good fortune of connecting with Samantha Laguerre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Samantha, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The initial idea for my podcast came during a time when I was physically here but spiritually and mentally elsewhere. I was in a toxic draining relationship and knew that it was hindering me from walking in purpose and seeing this idea manifest. After a year of ending the relationship and building my relationship with Christ the idea came back in mind. I was hesitant at first because of fear, but then I submitted it to God and seeked him for direction and he gave me peace. I wanted this podcast to be a platform where other like-minded individuals could be encouraged, inspired, and experience a transformation in their lives. I wanted them to know that it was okay to be young and on fire for Christ and I wanted to truly highlight the difference between practicing a religion and having a genuine relationship with God.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe what sets me apart from others is my heart to serve. I genuinely love and care for people and I’d like to see everyone live this life more abundantly. I am very big on exposing deceptions that keeps people in bondage in hopes of setting them free. I am excited about my recent tee launch this year. It has been a goal of mine and to finally see it come to past has been rewarding. The message that I promote will not only be found on an audio but it is being plastered on a tee and worn out by the listeners for the world to see. This, I am very proud of. I believe that I have always been mature for my age and having parents who carried themselves in a professional manner has taught me how to conduct myself in that same way. I have learned that sometimes it’s better to move and work in silence because it allows you to make sound decisions without your mind being clouded with the opinions of others. I want the world to know that I practice what I preach. Although I am no where near perfect, I am progressing. I only hope that my journey of embarking on a journey to be one with Christ in my everyday life inspires them to do the same.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would recommend brunch at Pineapple Jacks Bistro. If you’re in a mood for a scenic adventure then I would suggest renting an electric scooter and riding around downtown Fort Pierce around sunset.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First of all, I wouldn’t be in my right mind and in this position had it not been for the grace of God. He deserves all the glory! I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to my younger sister, Hannah. She has really inspired me to be me unapologetically. I’d like to acknowledge and recognize my parents (Carline and Allain Laguerre) who have been supportive through it all. I’d also like to give credit to my tribe of supportive friends (Tyrah, Phoebe, Jasmine, Lafayette, Wes, Kathiana, Monica, and Alexis) who encouraged me to start and have been riding alongside me on this journey! I love you all so much!
