Meet Sammy D | Fashion Blogger & Lifestyle Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sammy D and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sammy, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued a creative career as a fashion influencer to bring confidence and boldness for the everyday women. My goal is to help women especially mothers to feel and look fabulous on a budget. I encourage women to step outside the box to be bold in their fashionable style.

I also encourage woman to experience living a luxe lifestyle on budget. Some women feel like certain lifestyle is for the celebs or super rich and famous. I help navigate how to find deals in every area in life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Fashion Blogger and Lifestyle Content creator. I’ve been on this journey for almost a year. I always had a passion for fashion. Prior to being a fashion blogger and content creator I was a stylist. Some of my cliental would include a national recording singing artist. I enjoyed that journey in my life, but knew it wasn’t my true passion. I always had a niche for fashion but I never wanted to pay full price. I would alway fish for deals. I was high low type of girl lol.

I am a single mother but still wanted to look and feel good, I didn’t have the extra funds to spend 3k on a bag. I decided to search for much cheaper lux items that was under my budget I was able to maintain without breaking the bank, I notice I would get a lot of compliments on my finds and my outfits. I would get may people asking for advise on how to put outfits together or finding certain lux items for cheaper price. I was the go to girl.

In the beginning of 2021 I decided to take a leap and pursue my passion of fashion full time and start my influencing journey. This journey has not been easy. There is no blue print and often I hit a dead end in my career. But one thing I can say is keep going and never stop!

Let me tell you when you think no one is watching thats when you get surprised the most! This year alone I secured 6 paid brand partnership and 2 promotion event partnership that landed me a digital billboard in Aventura Mall that is currently running as we speak!

One post or one tip can help someone who has no clue how to put an outfit together or someone who desires to look or dress a certain way but lack direction.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well now you’re talking, I am a huge foodie. Part of being a lifestyle content creator I review hot spots in Miami.

So the first thing we would do is go to a nice spa at ICON BRICKELL in the W Hotel. We will get the day pass (Tip: They offer them online alone with other high end hotels). By getting the day pass we will have access to all the hotel amenities. After getting a massage we will chill in the inside pool., move outside and enjoy the outside pool.

We would go out to brunch at Esotico Miami . We would do breakfast at Jet Runway Cafe.

For couple of nights at dinner we would hit up Carbone Miami, Komodo, Papi Steak and Mila Restaurant.

During the weekend we will have a chill day and head to Wynwood for a day of art food and culture, We would stop at Dunkaroo Jamaican restaurant and enjoy live DJ and amazing authentic Jamaican food.

Finish off the week at Fort Lauderdale beach laying out and riding bikes you can rent off the beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would shoutout my kids they help me with every aspect of my pictures. To taking all my pictures, helping me edit.

I do this for them so they see their mom following her passion of helping others through fashion
