We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Stokes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite personal affirmation, which has become my biggest belief in business is:

Our businesses were divinely sent to help us heal.

This is my own personal belief after growing three companies and seeing how much I personally have evolved as well.

Nothing will get us to step up and grow personally and professionally like our businesses will.

Having helped hundreds of businesswomen over the years, what became so clear was that our business has a special way of drawing out the parts of us that want to be healed for our greater good.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I love that I help women “de-should” their businesses. This is unique in a field where business coaching has become prescriptive versus custom.

The “shoulds” of business keep my clients stuck, exhausted, and under earning. When they work with me, we peel away all the cultural conditioning and create a business that actually works for her and the life she wants.

I had to bump my nose for eight years learning the hard way as I came through burnout and creating multiple millions and I knew I had to help other women suffer less.

I overcame the challenges of being in the top 4% of business women (hitting the elusive 7-figure year) with a lot of tenacity, vision, and healing from old trauma responses and unhelpful patterns of people pleasing.

Those were not helpful as I scaled my business and now I’m thrilled to help women like me experience more profitable, joyful businesses.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My first stop would be brunch. A locally owned place with amazing mimosas and eggs Benedict.

Then we’d head to the beach for a walk, look for any wildlife or cool stones and shells, and soak in the sunshine and good company.

We would say hello to everyone we met on our walk and meet some cool people before finding a spot to chill and grab lunch.
