Meet Shanice Traylor | CEO of Evolve2Empower

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shanice Traylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shanice, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own ministry derived from battling internally with not feeling adequate enough, growing up. I didn’t feel confident nor did I feel beautiful. As a result, it caused me to experience highs and lows, to settle for less than the best, experience depression and cry many tears but God, I realized that he makes no mistakes. God chose me. God created me in his image and likeness. His word reaffirmed that I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath, I am worrthy, I am valuable, I am the daughter of a King, I am victorious in Christ, I am built for this life, I am clothed in strength and dignity, I am ENOUGH, I am Shanice Elaine Traylor. The very thing I struggled with, God used it as the fuel and foundation of my ministry, Evolve2Empower which is intended to build confidence in young ladies while enhancing self worth and self love. It ties into to my favorite verse, Romans 8:28 which says, “And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Even when we can’t see it, feel it or understand it, God will turn our test into a testimony and use it for our good as he did for me, and he can do it for you too. So, therefore I had to go through, to get to this place in my life so that I could evolve to empower.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
On January 9,2021, I officially launched my ministry Evolve2Empower LLC. If I could do it all over again, I would because the love and support was undeniable and unmatched. My vision came to life and it was truly a blessing, all around. Generally, our experiences are intended to shape and drive our purpose. I can attest to that, because out of my internal struggles with inadequacy and lack of confidence, God was able to birth my purpose, E2E. The mission of E2E is to ignite a level of confidence in young ladies by helping them discover who they are, loving themselves unconditionally and embracing their value so that they can evolve into the best version of themselves and empower someone else. Experiencing the highs and lows, setting for less than the best, facing depression and crying many tears was not the best feeling, I was able to overcome and realize that I AM ENOUGH!. Although, it was a process, I learned that I had to go through, to get to this place in my life so that I could evolve to empower. Everyone deals with things internally and externally, but what matters most is that regardless of where we are, we must remember that God has given us grace for the race. Therefore, we can run with endurance, and press towards the mark. You got this, keep the faith and it will be alright!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would recommend touring Star Island and Vizcaya Museum. For dinner, I would suggest Mastro Ocean Club, Barten G, Barsecco, Kaluz, or Texas de Brazil.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I love you all and words will never be enough to express how blessed I am to have you in my circle of support. As a result of you all seeing the potential and greatness God instilled within me, even when I couldn’t fully see it myself, you all went above and beyond to invest in me in a plethora of ways which has tremendously attributed to my growth.
