We had the good fortune of connecting with Shantelle Coote and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shantelle, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
People think it’s only about making women feel beautiful, but it takes a lot of hard work and skill to master your craft. Success in this industry doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time, dedication and consistency to keep going. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Shantelles Beauty Lounge is all about enhancing natural beauty and creating a space where women feel confident. I specialize in permanent makeup, brows, lashes and skincare. I take pride in my work and I’m very precise when it comes to details. It definitely wasn’t easy getting to where I’m at today, but I’m very proud of my self for never giving up. Whenever a client gets a service done at Shantelles Beauty Lounge, I always want to make sure they leave feeling their best.

I also recently started my new product line called Brow Script where I will be selling my own beauty products online and in my studio. I’m so excited about this new journey and can’t wait to see how it grows.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to town, the first place I’ll take her to is Shantelles Beauty Lounge for flawless brows and lashes. Then we will have lunch or dinner at a nice restaurant.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I want to thank God. None of this would be possible without Him. I also want to thank my beautiful mother for her constant prayers, her endless support and for being the one who first introduced me to the beauty world. To my father and stepmother , thank you for always supporting me through this journey. Forever thankful to my significant other for always believing in me and being my biggest supporter. And last, but certainly not least, I want to give a shoutout to my clients. Their loyalty, trust and support means everything to me.
