We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheena Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheena, what’s your definition for success?
To me success is about love, happiness, passion, freedom, family & friends. People often mistake success for material things like a mansion on the hill, millions of dollars in the bank, celebrity status, the latest look etc…. but as you can tell – lots of people who supposedly “have it ALL” are still unsatisfied with their life – MONEY has not filled their void. “NICE THINGS” bring TEMPORARY fulfillment, but that feeling quickly fades away. This shows you that Success is not defined by the amount of things you have. Success comes from doing what you love and by doing what you love – success follows. There are a lot of quick tips & documentaries about how to be successful in 2 weeks – those my friends are bogus, there is no sure formula or secret for success . You cannot simply watch a show and become successful – It takes hard work, action & many failures in which you learn from. There is a quote from Jack Canfield that says, “Don’t worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.” Bill Gates says, “It’s fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.” Success is a mindset & a Lifestyle. It’s a unspeakable feeling of joy and peace that you never want to end. Ultimately it really shouldn’t be success that we’re after – We should be striving everyday to do what we love whilst adding value. Adding value to others naturally brings you happiness and once you have happiness – Success automatically comes. Success is NOT FREE… just like pregnancy happens before the baby is birthed and just like the seeds are planted before the harvest- It’s the same process with Success. FAILURE happens before success. You will fall time after time, but remember that you always pass failure on your way to success, for failure is only a detour not a dead end street. Now keep in mind success is not something that just stays with you- once you have success, its a continued work in progress to keep it. Don’t get discouraged when people don’t believe you can be successful – when you work hard and succeed – they will believe.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
11+ years ago, my husband and I said “I DO” – and from that point of planning our own wedding, we decided to continue in the Love Business and have not looked back since. Starting couples on their journey of marriage is so Magical and it is what we absolutely love to do. We are living out our passion everyday of the week, Everyone of our clients are a part of our Experience Love Events family. We owe our success to our failures. We learnt early on that obstacles will rise, and when they do – you may need to change your direction but quitting is not an option. Detours are inevitable but there are no Dead Ends.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The beach hands down is where I would take my BF. You can’t come to Florida and not visit the Beach.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
