We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheena Moorer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheena, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my business to help beautiful women of all color and sizes feel good about themselves. We as women always look in the mirror and see something about ourselves we wish we could change. But I wanted women to know that God designed each of us in our own unique way, and that we should love ourselves no matter what.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from other businesses is that I will go out my way to make shopping convenient for my clients. Which means I will deliver right to their front door if necessary. I got to where i am today by providing excellent Customer Service, maintaining a Professional personality and establishment, a family oriented environment and by building a great rapport with my Customers. I’ve had a few Challenges like most small businesses, but I kept pushing, kept praying, found new strategies to rebuild, started promoting more and started networking more. Giving up is never an option for me no matter what obstacles that may come my way. What I’ve learned along the way is that, in order to have a successful business, you have to be consistent with promoting, networking and Building your Brand. When the world see me, I want you to know that I am the Face behind my brand and that I’m bringing you Quality and Elegance.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love and enjoy nice Restaurants. I would take them to Brunch on the water at GG’s Waterfront or Bar One on the Beach. I would take them to hang out for drinks in Wynwood. There are many nice Restaurants and places to have drinks there. I would take them to the Improv Comedy Show, I would take them to the Poetry and Jazz Lounges for great entertainment, dinner and drinks.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The Majority of my friends are business owners. Together we put together Networking events, Vision Board Parties, and even phone conversations inspiring and encouraging each other with our businesses. Strategies we could use to build and enhance our businesses. Some of those ladies would be Ig: name Nickola Hill, she owns her own Credit Repair company.
