We had the good fortune of connecting with Shelley Azaria Dyner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shelley, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I felt a calling to it, I had a passion for fashion at such a young age. I’d walk around in my sisters high heels like I was at a runway show. Dress myself in every scarf my mom owned and waltz around like I was someone of great importance. I just always knew whatever I ended up doing it was going to have a creative background.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well, Im a stylist, personal shopper and closet organizer but for the everyday person. I’m here for the people that genuinely have no idea what they’re doing with their wardrobes or closets. Or anyone that just needs a refresh and renew in personal style. At the moment I’m very excited to be doing this interview. With everything going on this year, it was a happy surprise when I was asked to be apart of this.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I’m a foodie, so I enjoy going to a handful of my favorite places as well as eating in because I just so happen to love cooking and I’m pretty good. Beach days are a must paired with a Laspadas sub, Coronas and Bacardi lemon in the cooler for loaded Coronas. Lunch at Keeses, brunch at Bulegreen Cafe, dinner & drinks at Posh Sushi. Mojitos at The Wharf, dancing at Rhythm & Vine and late night pizza at Primanti Brothers.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m grateful for all the people that have influenced me and supported me throughout my journey. Although, the one person who really saw my passion early on and encouraged me is someone that has always been a mentor to me. She believed in me before I believed in myself. Elle, this is dedicated to you. Thank you for always pushing me to be better and noticing where my potential could take me.
