We had the good fortune of connecting with Silas Willis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Silas, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
It was a hobby at first but then it turned into a passion. I love creating music with my team the vibe the environment the energy it’s the best feeling in the world
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I would say the creative process is what makes me different I still use pen and pad don’t get it twisted tho ima fool with that pen. When I pick beats they gotta touch me deeper than the surface like touch my soul. Im most proud of the progress me and my team have made over the last year really I took 2021 off and came back 2022 full throttle and we going even harder 2023. It was ups downs twist and turns on the road I took it was definitely turbulent but I wouldn’t change nothing about it and I over came all challenges by pushing forward whenever they popped up. The biggest lesson is always bet on yourself. We on the way to the top see y’all there
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We definitely eating at Big Dave’s Cheesesteak bussing American deli Tokyo the best hibachi probably go bowling shoot pool if it’s summer most definitely hitting a water park or six flags the drink of choice would most definitely be tequila and the last day ima take em with me to my guy JHead studio to show them the recording process.
