We had the good fortune of connecting with Silvita Thervil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Silvita, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
One of the most important thing I’ve done was starting my business. It’s not easy. They see mommy working hard. Loosing sleep some nights just to keep her business going. The sacrifices I’ve made. They see how determined mommy is, and reluctant. Silently I’m teaching them that life isn’t always easy. Nothing you want in life comes easy, but with hard work, and dedication it’ll all work out. Being a business owner is challenging. Some days I feel like walking away from it all….but my love for it wouldn’t allow me to. To sum this all up I hope, and pray my determination, and drive rubs off on them. My kids are a product of who I am….A hard worker.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner of SE BOUTIQUE. Been in business for 5 years. Hard work, dedication , and being consistent is how I kept my business going for this long. My joy, and job is to keep women feeling confident, looking beautiful, and feeling their best. Knowing I can put a smile on someones face just for a moment in their lives…..keeps me going, keeps me motivated. Nothing is ever easy in life, and why would I want it to be. If my life was easy, what would I be able to teach my boys, and what would they learn from me. Life to me is a challenge. You get beat up sometimes by it…but you have to keep going…keep moving….keep chasing your dreams. Your not going to win at everything, and that’s ok. In life I’ve learned to keep good people around me….honest people. What do I want the world to know about me, and my brand🤔. That I’m a hard worker, and a lover of fashion. One of my happy place is to see a women nicely dressed. That puts a smile on my face.. As for my brand. SE BOUTIQUE is not about quantity, but quality, and it will always remain that way. Expect nothing, but the best. The way you look sets the tone for your day…..step out, and show the world that your presence is everything SE BOUTIQUE.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There is so much places to go, and so much things to do in Miami….how can I even choose. I would have to say…SE BOUTIQUE first, and formost. My girls have to look, and feel their best at all times. South Beach for night life fun, Wynnewood in the day for brunch. Miami Beach to enjoy the ocean. Key west for a more island vibe. I love dinner, and show places…so Tatiana club and restaurant. You get food, and a show, and dancing at the end of the night. One of my favorite places to go. Last but not least…a bed…because all of us aren’t spring chickens anymore. Bed time is no longer 7 a.m. it’s been reduced to 1 a.m due to old age🥴🤪.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes out to my 3 boys. Without them none of this would be possible. My photos, and videos, and them investing their time in me, and my business. They deserve all the recognition. (Nehemiah…Jeremiah…Josiah) How else would I find the strength, and the drive to do this without them. My heart beats.
