We had the good fortune of connecting with Sizwe C and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sizwe, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
As an international recording artist immersed in the Soca genre and culture, my end goal is to propel Soca music forward on a global scale. I aim to break boundaries, infuse fresh elements, and create a fusion of sounds that captivates listeners worldwide while staying true to Soca’s infectious rhythms and lively spirit. By collaborating with artists from various genres and cultural backgrounds, I seek to create powerful musical hybrids that resonate with a wide audience and preserve the authenticity of Soca.
In addition to my musical endeavors, I aspire to be an advocate for Caribbean culture, actively promoting Soca artists, events, and festivals globally. By leaving an indelible mark on the Soca genre, inspiring a new generation of artists, and fostering a universal language of celebration and unity, I hope to create a lasting legacy that extends beyond my own artistic journey.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My performances are truly electric and unlike any other. I bring an unparalleled energy and vibrant atmosphere that I like to call “The Sizwe Experience.” It’s a fusion of infectious rhythms, and a dynamic stage presence that leaves audiences in awe.
One of the key elements that sets my performances apart is the incorporation of live percussion brass and other instruments. I believe in the power of live instrumentation to elevate the energy and create an immersive experience for my fans. The pulsating beats of the percussion add an electrifying layer to my music, taking the energy of my show to new heights.
Throughout my career, I have continuously honed my craft, refining my stage presence, and exploring new ways to enhance the Sizwe Experience. I have learned the importance of engaging with the audience, creating a genuine connection, and leaving a lasting impact on everyone who witnesses my performances.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely!
First and foremost, my family. Their unwavering belief in my talent and dreams, along with their constant encouragement, has been a driving force behind my accomplishments. Their love and sacrifices have given me the foundation and strength to pursue my musical aspirations.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to my Management team and my team at We Big Ent. Their guidance, expertise, and belief in my artistic vision have been instrumental in shaping my career and propelling me forward.
Furthermore, I owe a debt of gratitude to my loyal fans, the Soca community, and the broader music industry for their support. Their love has fueled my passion and provides me with countless opportunities to connect with audiences around the world.
