We had the good fortune of connecting with Stan Zemskoff and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Financial freedom

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Right now, my main focus is yacht brokerage, quantum propulsion, and custom boatbuilding through Azure Yacht Group. On the brokerage side, it’s about guiding clients through high-value decisions with trust and precision. With Azure, we design and build yachts that reflect a modern, minimalistic aesthetic and a commitment to innovation and performance.

I’m also diving deep into quantum propulsion—developing cleaner, quieter, more efficient systems that challenge everything we know about marine travel.

It hasn’t been easy—supply chain issues, cash flow challenges, and tough lessons all played a role. But each step pushed me to think bigger. What I want people to know is: I’m not just in the business of boats—I’m here to reshape the experience, the technology, and the future of life on the water.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1: Welcome to Fort Lauderdale
Start with breakfast at Java & Jam on Las Olas. Then walk the strip and check out the boats along the New River. In the evening, dinner at Boatyard—perfect waterfront views and a great intro to South Florida vibes. Nightcap at Rooftop @1WLO or keep it classic at Elbo Room.

Day 2: A Day on the Water
Head out on a private yacht—something sleek and silent if we’re showing off propulsion tech or a unique custom build from Azure Yacht Group. Cruise the Intracoastal, anchor for a swim, and stop at Le Tub or Pirate Republic for lunch. Return for dinner at Casa Sensei and maybe a canal-side gondola ride just for fun.

Day 3: Miami Day Trip
Take the day to explore Miami. Brunch at Pura Vida, then hit Wynwood for murals and galleries. Walk the Design District, visit Superblue or Rubell Museum. Sunset drinks at Broken Shaker, and dinner at Mandolin Aegean Bistro or Komodo if you’re feeling extra.

Day 4: Chill + Workshop Tour
Sleep in, grab coffee at Circle House Coffee, and take a walk on the beach. Later, stop by your workspace or one of the Azure Yacht Group projects to show your friend something cutting-edge. Dinner at S3 or DUNE by Laurent Tourondel—elegant but chill.

Day 5: Key Largo Escape
Drive down to Key Largo for a snorkeling adventure at John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park. Chill at Skipper’s Dockside or The Fish House. Optional overnight stay at Bungalows Key Largo for a luxury reset under the stars.

Day 6: Local Hangouts
Brunch at The Alchemist, then check out Bonnet House or paddle through the mangroves at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Evening drinks at The Wilder, or go north to Funky Buddha Brewery if you want something more casual.

Day 7: Reset + Goodbyes
Start with coffee and croissants at Croissan’Time, a last beach walk or a calm boat ride. For lunch, hit Shooters Waterfront or Kaluz for a final toast. Send your friend off refreshed, inspired, and ready to come back

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to the mentors, collaborators, and fearless believers who stood beside me through the chaos of building—whether it was a distribution company in a tough market, a wellness initiative aiming to elevate human consciousness, or a factory plan designed to disrupt homebuilding.

I wouldn’t be here without the patient partners who helped navigate factory delays, team dysfunction, and cash flow nightmares. Or the brilliant minds who challenged me to think bigger—those who saw clarity where others saw noise. To the late-night conversations, the unglamorous grind, the truth-tellers, the advisors, the quiet supporters—you know who you are. This shoutout’s for you.

And, of course, to my team—past, present, and future—thank you for building the vision with me, brick by brick, boat by boat.
