We had the good fortune of connecting with STELLA VIDAL and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi STELLA, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I believe that mental health and wellness services are absolutely under-used in our society, and perhaps it is because there is still a stigma regarding therapy and “seeking help.” Since the pandemic hit, over 20% of Americans suffer from mental illness and I personally know that his figure is higher due to people not wanting to disclose that they are suffering alone. I have dedicated my life to helping individuals and families deal with sadness, anxiety, loss, trauma, grief and other severe mental health issues, and see how human beings are so resilient. If I am able to help an individual feel better by acknowledging that love starts from within, then this one individual will be able to impact those around them in a positive way, instead of projecting their own issues onto others, and perpetuating suffering in the world.

My practice of mental health and wellness revolves around self acceptance, self care and self love. Imagine if everyone in the world was able to look within and accept themselves as perfect Divine Beings, despite their own perceived “imperfections.” They will then walk outside their home with a sense of inner peace and love, which in turn will spread like pollen onto others. If we become the light and stop depending on others to “shine their light on us” then our communities and the world will be elevated to the vibration of love and not hate. I teach my clients to embrace their shortcomings and by not being afraid of them anymore, they are able to turn their lives around through TRULY unconditional love for themselves. I see miracles unfold daily in my practice, from young children to elderly patients and I am humbled every day by their commitment to themselves to persevere and succeed.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business of mental health started in the 1990’s when I started working as a social worker and counselor with families dealing with child abuse and neglect. From that point forward, I have dedicated my life to help young children and adults address the most difficult parts of their suffering.

Although I have worked through many community social service agencies, the onset of the pandemic pushed me to go out on my own. I saw an immediate need to help balance the darkness with my love and light, by helping humans deal with isolation, anxiety and fear. So I have the pandemic to thank for opening my eyes and fully realize that this is my true mission in life, spreading the message of self-love and self-care to achieve happiness

Stella Vidal, LLC is the definition of true entrepreneurship. I’m a Nationally Certified Wellness Coach and a Master’s Degree holder in Mental Health Counseling, and registered with the State of Florida. I am a published author of 7 Intentions to a Happier YOU! available on Amazon and in my website, stellavidal.com. I also consider myself an artist, and use art as a prominent tool to help people access the deepest emotions and to help them express their true essence. I did not become an artist to get rich, but instead to elicit happiness through he use of color and spirituality

I have been a certified Personal Trainer for several years, and use these skills with my mental health and wellness clients, because my approach is multifaceted: In our coaching sessions, we incorporate the mind, the body and the soul to achieve long-lasting changes that will promote a healthier and happier life.

I have also had my real estate license for 7 years and practice commercial and residential real estate in South Florida as an additional stream of revenue, which by the way, I’ve learned that to become a millionaire you need to diversify your talents 🥰

I am living my best life after much adversity which I’m happy to share with others who may be lacking the clarity to see their own worth and capacity to live peaceful and fulfilling lives.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Because I have been successfully practicing Real Estate in South Florida for almost a decade, I happen to be the person people call to ask where to go when in Miami. Here are my personal favorite spots to enjoy: Biscayne Bay is an incredibly picturesque beach that will allow you to enjoy the Miami skyline from a distance. I would say that this is where the locals go to the beach instead of the popular South Beach, which most people know about.

Coconut Grove also provides a unique “old Florida” experience if you’re in the mood for an afternoon drink and some shopping.

For a great dinner spot in Downtown Miami, I would recommend Ceviche 105. For a unique dinner experience on Brickell Ave.,I would recommend the River Seafood Oyster, although there are incredible options downtown Brickell and the Miami River.

Oh, and also look up “Edgewater” an upcoming new neighborhood with chic places to people watch and grab a drink. As far as late night partying, I’ve been out of the loop for years but you could never go wrong if you go to Blue Martini at Mary Brickell Village. I could go on and on, but these are my favs.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been on my own since the age of 17, and throughout my life, there have been many people who have been instrumental in my success. Starting with my parents who left Colombia in the midst of the drug cartel Violence in 1986. They sacrificed themselves to ensure that their 4 young children would have opportunities that they themselves lacked in their country. It must have been so scary but they did it for us!

My husband who I have been with for almost 20 years! He is my rock, my biggest supporter and my best friend. I would not be where I am today without him. My 21 year old son who is my biggest motivator to be the best person I can be and be. I want to be a positive role model for him to look up to.

Finally Dr. Wayne Dyer, RIP, who I began reading in the early 1990’s and whose philosophy of life has allowed me to nurture my soul and allowed me to live my truest version of myself.
