Hi Stephane, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Values and principles are essential to grow.  My values have permitted me to grow and to build myself both personally and professionally, and above all to follow a path in line with my education. My principles have allowed me to constantly progress, to reach my goals while maintaining my values. There is a principle that I like very much: Do what you say and say what you do.
It is too easy to talk without doing anything and to take credit for another person, but with time these people will have to confront their responsibilities and will be completely discredited. Doing what I say reflects the seriousness of my commitments and affirms my personality. Saying what I do is also very important to me because it allows me to explain to my colleagues, clients or friends how and why I do it. It allows me to share my experiences with others, which creates a very enriching exchange of experiences or best practices.

What should our readers know about your business?
I founded Roll-Lux in 2019 after falling in love with the RENOVA brand, one of the leading paper products in Europe and the exclusive leader in colored toilet paper. After a quick contact with the RENOVA management team in Portugal, we became the official distributor of the brand for the American market specialized in e-commerce and hotel & restaurant industries. In addition to toilet paper, we also distribute colored paper towels and colored paper towels of high quality. Our challenge is to bring color and fun back into people’s lives. Colored toilet paper was very popular in the 60’s, but gradually disappeared from bathrooms because some doctors claimed that dyes were not good for the private parts, without providing any proof or scientific study. The colored papers we offer are safe because they are tested under dermatological and gynecological control. In addition, all our products are made in Europe in RENOVA’s factories. BRC Food certified and FSC® certified, made of 100% virgin pulp and other controlled materials. By choosing this product, you are supporting the responsible management of the world’s forests.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This project is dedicated to my old friend who left us too early and too young 4 years ago. His sudden passing has allowed me to refocus on my expectations and desires. Without my wife who followed me without hesitation, this project would not have been possible either and I thank her for this trust. Of course, if I was able to launch this project, it is also thanks to former managers and clients who helped me to acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to carry out such a project. And of course friends and family who support us every day.
