Hi Suana, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
My main habit which is not giving up easily. Everything takes time & you have to work extremely hard to accomplish what you wish to & if it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you. There are going to be times when things don’t go your way & you’ll have the urge to give up but it’s always best to keep trying, work harder & try a different strategy because it will work out eventually. Rather than staying comfortable or doing the bare minimum. Always challenge yourself & never give up.

Suana Callum is a Professional GoKart & Car Racer, Pageant Queen, Makeup Artist, Runway Model, Pageant, Runway & Ettiquette Coach. She has been in the modelling industry for the past 8 years. So she has quite the experience working with different brands & different people. She is a leading expert in the industry of etiquette and protocol. In addition to executive coaching and development. Suana Callum has trained young ladies & men for both local & international pageants, virtually as well as in-person. She currently serves on quite a few Board of Directors and Committees. Suana is passionate about pageantry because she has personally benefited from what it has to offer. Her goal continues to be helping other women & men become the best versions of themselves without changing who they are at heart.

Suana, now has a foundation “The Suana Callum multifaceted Foundation” which is a non profit organization was created to provide immense support for: children living in institutional care, young adults leaving care, those with disabilities who require long term assistance & the elderly who can’t do much for themselves. This foundation will cover people in every parish of Jamaica & then taken globally.

Suana has also recently created her own signature fragrance called “INFLUITIVE”. This was done at the Princedbruce fragrance Perfumery in Kingston, Jamaica. She intends to take her perfume brand Internationally.

This 21 year old is extremely passionate about all that she does.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have to say that my favorite place to have fun will always be the race track. Though, if I were to have a friend with me showing around, I’d probably take them to Ac hotel because of the ambiance, Bob Marley Museum to explore the rich reggae culture & lastly East Japanese for some authentic Japanese food.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

There are many people that came into my life that have impacted it, however a few have stuck out. For starters, my family, my mom especially. She has been inspiring me throughout, supporting me all the way with love & prayers. My coaches who has helped me a lot, ensuring I’m ready for all my races.
