We had the good fortune of connecting with Susan Winograd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Susan, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind our success is that we are driven to help PEOPLE not clients. We build therapeutic relationships and we are focused on helping our clients get back to enjoying the activities they love without pain or worry of bowel, bladder and/or sexual dysfunction. We take the time to listen to clients and get to know what is important to them, what they have become limited in doing and what they dream of getting back to. Our success is due to our Total Body Approach to Healing. We use a whole body approach and we consider every system in body for optimal healing. We essentially take the time to look at all the pieces of a healing puzzle and help clients put it all together in a healing plan of care.

What should our readers know about your business?
Pelvicore Rehab is a Pelvic health and wellness Physical Therapy practice in Boca Raton, FL

I am passionate about pelvic health and wellness, so much so, that I
gave up my concierge outpatient rehab business seven years ago to launch Pelvicore
Rehab LLC and pursue my dream of providing an amazing healing experience for people with Pelvic Health issues.

We help people overcome pelvic health challenges, we help them return to
activities that bring them joy without the worry or interruption of bowel,
bladder, and sexual problems.

Pelvicore Rehab helps men, women and children throughout their lifespan with issues
ranging from bladder leakage to constipation to painful sex. We support
women prenatally, for pregnancy wellness, for postnatal care and
menopause health.

Pelvicore helps men overcome all pelvic floor related issues including but
not limited to urinary, prostate, and sexual dysfunction.

Pelvicore Rehab is unique because we use a holistic approach in order to create a comprehensive,
cohesive, and individualized plan of care to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

We look at the big picture of healing from a total body perspective. We listen to
people’s stories and gather the information we need to put the pieces of their
pelvic health puzzle together in order to help them achieve long lasting relief. We love being pain detectives.

What also sets us apart is that we use a Biopsychosocial Approach to healing because we understand that there is ALWAYS a physical AND Emotional component to healing and BOTH must be addressed for long term healing.

Many times, people are bounced from one specialist to another, leaving them
with varying opinions, unclear diagnoses, and without a cohesive plan of action.
This can be frustrating, confusing and overwhelming for people.

Often, patients are treated with medications that provide only temporary relief
because they don’t address the underlying/ root cause of the problem, often times this is pelvic floor
dysfunction.

I am so proud that our talented team has an incredibly diverse skillset. Aside
from completing many pelvic health specialty courses, we have learned cranial
sacral therapy, Myofascial Release, Total Body Balancing, dry needling (a modern
treatment designed to ease muscular pain), visceral manipulation, scar release therapy, Arvigo Therapy, Hypopressive Fitness, and earning a certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise specialist.

Our mission is to help people reclaim their lives and return to activities that bring them joy.
We are committed to providing the highest level of care to optimize pelvic
health and healing, ultimately elevating the overall quality of life for people that we help. This is truly what excites me and keeps me motivated and driven!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I think living in South Florida is the BEST! I would take my best friend to the beach that is just 5 miles away. On the way, I would point out how incredibly blue the sky is and how all the palm trees make you feel like you are living on vacation. Visiting Miami and South Beach are a MUST. It is really like the most fun melting pot of cultures, food and music. You can literally eat, shop, dance and watch live shows all on the same road ( Lincoln Road). I live in Boca but escape to Miami for a fun day regularly!! Wynwood is a super trendy art/business district with a super cool place to have lunch called Zac the Baker. When you come to Florida it’s all about being outdoors and soaking up the sun!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We have an incredible team here at Pelvicore Rehab!! We all align with our vision and mission and are passionate about not only providing the best expert care BUT also providing and unforgettable healing experience. I admire each team members commitment and determination to help people. On a personal note, my husband Jonathan is my inspiration every single day. He is my best friend, my mentor, my cheerleader. I have been able to grow my dream of providing the care that I know people deserve because of his encouragement and belief in my mission.
