Hi Susana, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my profound relationship with myself. Finding joy in solitude, embracing gratitude for every experience, and cherishing connections with others. It is when I feel successful, and it’s precisely what I aim to cultivate in my brand’s products and services, empowering people to embrace their true selves and discover the beauty within.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

My art as a hair and makeup artist is more than just about external beauty; it’s a reflection of self-love and empowerment. I thrive on connecting with people, using my skills to not only enhance their outer appearance but also to boost their inner confidence and self-esteem. While the journey hasn’t been without its challenges, it’s been incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable.

What sets me apart is my passion for natural makeup and a genuine desire to make people feel beautiful both inside and out. Crafting products with love in my own home, alongside my partners in Colombia, has been a labor of love. While sales might not be my forte, my dedication to expanding production and distribution stems from a deep belief in the transformative power of self-love and self-expression.

Along the way, I’ve learned valuable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying true to my vision. My story is one of pursuing my passion, overcoming obstacles, and continually striving to spread positivity and beauty in the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For a week-long adventure with my best friend, the emphasis would be on cozy home comforts and rejuvenating experiences. We’d kick off our mornings with invigorating runs along the beach, soaking in the serene sunrise views and energizing ourselves for the day ahead. After our run, we’d indulge in breakfast from local favorites like Manolos or Buenos Aires Bakery in Miami Beach. The afternoons would be dedicated to pure indulgence at my home spa, where facials, massages, and self-care rituals would reign supreme. Evenings would be reserved for culinary delights, with dinners at charming spots like Basta e Pasta in Midtown. A highlight would undoubtedly be a blissful day at Olssus Skin Boutique, treating ourselves to the finest in skincare and relaxation. Throughout the week, our evenings would be spent bonding over homemade dinners and movie nights, fostering deeper connections and cherished memories. While my outings may lean towards tranquility over bustling activity, the focus remains on nurturing our souls and creating moments of pure joy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my story, there’s a cast of passionate and talented individuals who deserve recognition. From producers to directors, colleagues and friends who believed in me and opened doors to incredible opportunities, their support has been invaluable. Every encounter with these inspiring souls fuels my gratitude and ignites my passion even more. Their support, collaboration, and camaraderie have been invaluable in my professional journey. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas, tackling challenges together, or simply sharing a laugh during long on set days, their presence enriches my work experience. I’m deeply thankful for their dedication, expertise, and the positive energy they bring to set.
