We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamara Jimenez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamara, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is something that is necessary in order to evolve. With every risk there comes a reward. Once you get over the fear of failing, risk becomes exciting!

My life has always been about taking risk and staying true to myself regardless of what others may have thought. Being a risk taker allowed me to go all in on my aesthetics business, leave bedside nursing and my other side hustles and chase my passion, knowing that it was going to be something great.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Anything that has to do with body modifications is an art form. I believe that artist are born with a gift; that’s what sets me apart from others. I truly believe that what I do is an art form.

I am where I am today because of passion, hardwork, perseverance, and not taking a no for an answer. It was not easy there was many early mornings and late nights but I knew it was all worth it because I was loving what I was doing and how I was impacting so many lives.

My brand is all about empowering people to love and accept who they are as beautiful unique individuals.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First we would have to stop by some rooftop patios, walk around some beautiful parks, eat local street foods, drink pretty drinks, visit some bars with live djs and crazy vibes!

Most exciting people are random people you meet on vacations!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My late Mother first and foremost who always told me to chase my dreams and that I could do anything; secondly my children who have sacrificed so much in order for me to chase my dreams and build and legacy for them; my medical directors, Ashley Alliett and Rick Gall who have given me so much love and support throughout this journey.
