Hi Tasha Jo, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My decision to start Mystic Movement, my own healing center, was not part of a preconceived plan or thought-out strategy. After working as a barista for 16 years, I embarked on a spiritual journey seeking deeper meaning in my life. This journey led me to make significant life changes, including leaving my job, getting a divorce, and selling my home. It was during this transformative period that I took a major leap of faith and decided to create Mystic Movement. The business emerged organically from my personal growth and newfound passion for healing and spirituality. Although there was no detailed thought process behind starting my business, it was a heartfelt and courageous decision that has brought fulfillment and purpose to my life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mystic Movement ✨ is not just a holistic healing and self-care center; it is a sanctuary for individuals seeking spiritual growth, artistic expression, and community connection. I founded Mystic Movement with the vision of creating a space where people from all walks of life could come together to heal, create, and grow.

What sets Mystic Movement apart from other places is our unwavering commitment to supporting artists from around the world. By providing a platform for artists to showcase their work and connect with our community, we strive to foster creativity and inspiration in all who walk through our doors. Additionally, our diverse team of practitioners and aestheticians bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our center, offering a wide range of holistic healing modalities and self-care services to our clients.

Overcoming obstacles has been a key part of my journey in building Mystic Movement. I approach obstacles as opportunities for growth and learning, rather than setbacks. This mindset has allowed me to navigate challenges with resilience and creativity, finding innovative solutions and new paths forward. I believe that facing obstacles with a positive attitude and a willingness to adapt is essential to overcoming adversity and achieving success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you were to come to downtown Bremerton , I would definitely recommend walking all around downtown and by the fountains, Even checking out Evergreen Park. If you were to eat, Kai soi is delicious! The arcade on fourth Street is always a good time. So many cute coffee shops and the bookstore has lots of adorable little treasures, it’s a fun little town!

I owe a heartfelt shout out to my girlfriend Brooke. Her unwavering support and encouragement were the driving force behind my success. Without her belief in me and that extra push she gave me, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Brooke, you are truly my inspiration and my rock. Thank you for always being there for me and believing in me when I needed it the most.
