We had the good fortune of connecting with Teresa Blumberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Teresa, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
Team Work – I think in my business one of the most important lessons is how important it is to work as a team and to remember to have respect and gratitude for every person working with you on your events and by doing that you will find that everyone working within your team will want to go above and beyond to create a successful event or project.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
How did I get to where I am today professionally? I have to thank my previous boss Barton G – if I had not gone to work with him I would never have learnt the event business as I have – by having the opportunities to work on some of the biggest events in USA (Ryder Cups/SuperBowl and many more it gave me the experience I needed to continue on my own and start Teresa Blumberg Event Liaison and one of my first major events was to be part of a team working on the RNC (Republican National Convention) in 2012

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Gosh where do I start? we have so many fun things to do in Florida Take the family on a private tour at the Zoological Wildlife Foundation best day ever!!! Enjoy a day visiting PEREZ ART MUSEUM and enjoying a lunch in their fabulous restaurant Verde overlooking downtown Miami and the beautiful Biscayne Bay Book one of the Miami Culinary Tours – Go see Little Havana and experience traditional Cuban food and explore the rich culture of the neighborhood You cannot leave Miami without going to eat at Joes Stone Crabs on South Beach To end of the week a day lounging on the beach and sipping cocktails is the way to go
