We had the good fortune of connecting with Thomas Curry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Thomas, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Financial freedom being able to make choices, and achieve my own goals
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think what sets me apart from others is freedom of authenticity. I’m for being who you are and not what others want you to conform to be. As far as how I got here businesswise it’s all about taking that first step. It’s about wanting to see your idea become more than just an idea. If you look at our first major project Deathless. We literally put together almost every penny we had to make the idea a reality. The cold truth is you have to spend money to make money in this industry. It’s not easy at all specially and you’re just a regular guy with a regular 9 to 5 making less than $15 an hour. To the point of how I overcame that obstacle it was all about having the courage to take the gamble, whether it paid off or not it’s about being pleased with your work. As far as lessons there are too many to count, What keeps me grounded is knowing and accepting that there’s always more to learn. To the point of what I want the world to know about my brand or my story is that, We want to share compelling and interesting stories for all backgrounds to enjoy. We want to bring Entertainment back into Entertainment. Our job is not to preach but to immerse. Never stop walking that cobblestone path until you reach your destination
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It’s kind a hard to take them anywhere in the current climate lol With Covid having everything locked down but if things were open I would take them to the mountain to be able to go skiing in the snow then to the beach in the same day. One of the many benefits of living in Oregon.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Geez it’s hard because there’s multiple people that contributed to my story and getting me to where I am today. I’d like to shout out if possible Victoria Robberson a.k.a. (Hooty) Matthew Manyak, Briann Hemp and Patsy Pallone. These are the people that are helping make my dream a reality.
