We had the good fortune of connecting with Thuy Kay and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Thuy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was something I had thought about for some time. Working in the social media and marketing industry for several years, I realized there was an opportunity to create something unique and special that could bring people together. I knew that having a 360 Photo Spin would be the perfect addition to any event, allowing guests to capture their memories entertainingly. With this idea in mind, I started working on what products and services I could offer. After many months of planning, research, and development, I finally launched my business. My 360 Photo Spin is a great way to interact and capture memories from weddings, birthdays, corporate gatherings, conferences, and more By providing exceptional customer service and quality products; I can bring smiles to others.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a week to show my best friend the area, we’d have an adventurous and memorable time! On our first day, we’d start with some sightseeing. Next, we’d head down to Miami and grab lunch from 1 800 LUCKY, as they offer a variety of Asian fusion cuisines. Then, we’d stroll to Wynwood Walls and marvel at the fantastic graffiti art painted by local artists. Afterward, we’d spend some time shopping around Bal Harbour for unique boutiques and stores. I’d suggest eating at Makoto, which offers delicious Japanese cuisine for dinner. On the second day, we’d explore the city of Fort Lauderdale and take a boat tour around the Intracoastal Waterway. We’d also drive to Hollywood Beach and spend some time lounging by taking a dip in the ocean or simply walking barefoot on the shore. Afterward, I’d take my friend to the funky music and art venue Revolution Live, which offers live performances from local bands. On the third day, we’d spend some time at the Miami Seaquarium, where we can admire all kinds of aquatic life, including dolphins and sea lions. Afterward, we’d head to Calle Ocho in Little Havana to experience the Cuban culture and flavors, where we’d try some authentic Cuban food and a hand-rolled cigar. The fourth day would be spent at Miami Beach, starting with an indulgent brunch at one of the many restaurants along Ocean Drive. We’d then spend some time browsing for souvenirs at Lincoln Road Mall before heading to the beach to soak up some sun. To cap off a fun-filled day, we’d grab drinks at one of South Beach’s many rooftop bars and watch the sunset over the ocean. On our last day, we’d visit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, take an airboat ride through the Everglades, and enjoy a delicious seafood dinner.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shout-out to my husband, Andre, who has helped me along on this journey, offering me advice, listening to my ideas, and helping me brainstorm ways to make this business successful. With his support and guidance, I could turn my vision into reality.
I owe it all to my loving husband. None of this would have been possible without his constant guidance and unwavering support. I want to thank him and my three sons, who motivate me and keep me going forward.
