Meet Tiffany Bennett | Event Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Bennett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The process behind starting my event planning business was a hard one, but I took a leap of faith and gave it my all. Event planning has always been a passion of mines with seeing the outcome of a décor for an event is just breathtaking. During covid, events seemed impossible to do but it was the best time to launch my business. Even though the world was secluded couples, families, and close friends still wanting to enjoying life within a more intimate/private setting. This gave me the opportunity to give them a design of their dreams in a smaller scale.

What should our readers know about your business?
Exquisite Celebrations is an event designing firm that offers services for all needs. From a simple design to an elaborate celebration. Not only do we design for your event, but we also have items that can be rented. From table linens and centerpieces to backdrops such as a grass wall or a 3D wall as well a 360-photo booth. Our business is here to grow as a design and rental company. From the time we’ve started, business growth has been increasing each month which is very significant to this industry.

My proudest moment is seeing how I’m growing organically. The road was not an easy one, but my determination to be the best within the industry is my focus. I constantly promote on Instagram and recently came up with a basic package for future clients. Coming up with these packages was a little difficult as I wanted to give my clients a reasonable price but also, not shortchange myself with the affordability. I have a few vendor colleagues who gave me some advice and key notes within making these package offers. Learning from others in the industry has led to my growing success which is a lesson any person should consider when wanting to start a business. You cannot do this alone so ask as many questions from individuals in the industry no matter if they are old or new.

I would want to be known for exactly what the name says, “Exquisite Celebrations”. Knowing that my clients can trust me with their vision to bring it to life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
South Florida has plenty of activities to do. Whether you are relaxing on South Beach or walking Ft. Lauderdale’s boardwalk. Lots of fine dining with a diversity of food to choose from, I am a seafood lover so my best friend much like seafood as well, LOL. But overall, I am a true homebody. If I need to take them somewhere it would definitely be at a hotel to enjoy a resort day pass. Lounging by the pool and sipping some mojitos.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I sincerely must thank both my parents. My mother has been more than supportive with my business. She’s always there by my side, whether it’s listening to me with ideas and adding hers as well or from going store to store purchasing items for my events. My father is a general contractor, so all my wooden props I’ve used he’s made from scratch. No matter what it is, if he can build it, he will and he never tells me no. It means the world to me to have both my parents supporting me with my business as they’ve seen the growth as time goes by. I would also like to thank my friends, vendors and other event planners in this field who has supported me and encourage me to shoots for the stars every chance it get.
