Meet Tiziana Nenezic | Health Coach & Blogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiziana Nenezic and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiziana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
More than a thought process it was an organic development that started with a personal journey. I was searching for my purpose, my Big Why, my unique contribution to the world, so to speak. At the same time, I was also on a personal quest for wellness and better health, due to my own issues and family history. That is when my passions for real food, healthy cooking, and nutrition came together under the holistic umbrella my business is today. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I focus on gut health, chronic diseases, sugar addiction, and weight management. Because I firmly believe that when Hippocrates famously stated “All Disease Begins in the Gut”, he implied that wellness begins in the gut, too. Starting my own coaching practice and blog (Absolutely Flavorful) was a natural consequence of all of the above.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My brand relies heavily on Authenticity. Without a doubt, being real– walking the walk, not just talking the talk– is essential for a Health Coach. My clients are putting a big part of their health and wellness journey in my hands. In order to do that, they need to trust me. Inspiring that trust is up to me, and I could not do it without 100% authenticity. It is particularly important in my profession, but I am sure it is also a valuable principle no matter what kind of field you’re in. Besides being an irreplaceable asset in any business, authenticity is also the one thing that sets a brand apart even in a saturated market. I may not be the only Health Coach out there, but there is only one of me with my coaching style, wellness journey, and personal story.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
South of Fifth. It’s the part of South Beach that still feels like the old days to me. I moved here from NYC 17 years ago, and I vowed to never move from the beach, as that is what makes Miami living so special and luxurious to me. I always say that back in the city, no amount of wealth could provide the kind of views and beach life I enjoy every day and always for free here in Miami. I never take it for granted. So, at the risk of appearing nostalgic, I would recommend an old-school itinerary in my beloved SoFi: starting with breakfast at Big Pink where comfort food reigns supreme (an odd choice coming from a Health Coach, but when on vacation…); lunch would be take-out from My Ceviche to enjoy on the beach with something chilled to wash it down; sunset drinks at Monty’s, followed by dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab or Prime 112, depending on what you’re in the mood for (surf or turf?). At this point, I would be too full to party and would retire for the night, but, please, don’t let me stop you.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My special thanks go to my parents who taught me an appreciation for Real Food and how to cook like an Italian. More special thanks go to my early clients who took a chance on me and went on to refer me to friends and family, helping me get my practice off to a great start. In particular, I want to thank Sladjana Ivkovic for believing in me and my coaching, and telling everybody about it! Sladjana has been instrumental to my business, and she’s a great realtor, too.
