We had the good fortune of connecting with Tricia Morris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tricia, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I love product research and development, finding products that do what they say with ingredients that are safe and affective, trying them on myself for an extended period of time and documenting exactly how I used the product so that I can extend the correct protocol to my customers to get the best results.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started High End Beauty in 2011 distributing many brands to salons, spas, and doctor’s offices. In some cases we sold to retail stores or e-commerce depending on the vision of the manufacturing brand. I’ve always loved beauty products of all kinds, whether it’s skincare, haircare, nail care, accessories for the hair, beauty appliances, treatments. I am mostly proud of the education I received through experience, and the relationships I’ve made over the years in so many areas of distribution. I don’t think anyone in any kind of business will say that getting to where they are has been easy if they are being honest. It wasn’t easy getting to where I am and it still isn’t but I try and learn from each experience so that I can improve. The lessons I’ve learned so far is not to look in the past and not to look too far ahead. In business obviously we have to plan ahead for product development and marketing, but I try and take day by day head on and handle what we have in front of us today. I started Eyetitude with the most important part of the face, what we refer to as “The Windows To Your Soul”, as your eyes reflect what’s happening inside. The pupil inside the eye is a lotus flower symbolizing purity, renewal & beauty. Just as the lotus flower closes every night and opens every morning restored and renewed, Eyetitude focuses on products to repair, rejuvenate and restore leaving you refreshed & renewed!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I like to start my day off being active so in the morning we’d take a long walk on the beach and on the way back stop at Latitude’s on Highland Beach for a smoothie. Then we’d head to all the art galleries in West Palm Beach with a scheduled lunch being at Restoration Hardware with friends. I love Ballroom dancing so I’d have to take her/him to either Sultry Swing in West Palm Beach or Gold Coast in Coconut Creek.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes! I have an amazing mentor and coach, Jordana Foster of Ready Set Go Beyond. She is a motivation speaker, trainer & mindset coach that has really kept me on a path to reach my goals. I think life coaches are very important for whatever goal you are trying to achieve whether it’s a career, life choice, or simply for motivational purposes. If you find one really great you can even save money on a therapist!
