Meet Trinidad Troncoso | Actress and Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Trinidad Troncoso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trinidad, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I always wanted to do art. Could be dancing, singing or acting. It’s been always on my soul, it’s what I’m most passionated about. I love using my body to create new things, being able to express myself throw it. I ended up studying theatre because I felt it can involve the three arts that I love in just one. It’s what makes me feel safe and at the same time challenge me everyday.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I decided to move to United States as soon I finished my studies. I knew that I wasn’t going to be an easy journey but I took the challenge. So… a couple of moths later I took a plane and came here as a Aupair and then decided to change my visa so I can study Marketing in College. It’s been almost 2 years without acting because I had to focus myself in other things for now but it’s something I would come back as soon as possible because I miss it with all my heart.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I actually my best friend came to visit me last February and we had so much fun! We spend the weekend in Miami Beach. We ate at Pura Vida one of my favorites places. We grab coffee at Cortadito and had drinks at Serena rooftop. We mostly spent the weekend at the beach. Then, obviously a trip to Disneyworld because why not. and definitely Universal. And after all of that Tampa. I felt in love with the city. It has so much life and places to go. If you want a good coffee place go to Quiquiriqui, it’s in Ybor City and it’s beautiful.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It gonna sound self center but I want to thank myself because I never give up. Deciding to follow the path of acting was not easy. Even though my family supports me all the way everyone have doubts. Studying acting in Chile it’s hard because it’s not a goos pay career and what I wanted to do after it was ever harder because I wanted, and still want, act on movies and tv shows in Hollywood.
After so many people telling me that I wasn’t good enough, that I dream to big or that I should change my plans I never gave up and I will never do it because this is what I am. I’m an actress.
