We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Covington and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vanessa, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to create a fun, high energy practice so that when my patients would leave the office they would feel amazing about themselves and their confidence would boost. I wanted to have good energy so that when patients walked in they felt nothing but relaxation and positivity. I wanted to have a team who loved working there. A team that was high energy and positive! I wanted everyone to win!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My practice is welcoming to everyone. I have so many patients who feel good and express the high energy of the office. To me my goal was met when developing my practice. At the same time it’s something my team and I practice all the time. I also want to make others feel good when they don’t. Life throws curve balls w diseases, divorces and so many other things that I think people would be able to handle such events if they felt better about themselves. I have had many experiences with patients who come to me in these situations and at a later time express to me how much I changed their life in that time. To me that is everything.

I always had a business mentality but I also wanted to create a fun high energy practice where it holds a positive vibe constantly.

Luckily for me starting my business flowed easily. Challenges are thrown all the time but it’s how you respond to them and how you handle them is what matters.

I really want my brand out there so that people can feel 100% confident. Our slogan is “Creating a better version of you”. Who doesn’t want a better version of themselves? I want people to feel at home when they walk in. If they are having a bad day, allow us to change that. In our practice it’s not just about getting injected, it’s about the experience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would love my friend to have a great time. I love to be one with nature. Here in Miami we have beautiful beaches so I would definitely want them to see and experience it. I would take them to a nice restaurant after so they can experience the great food we have here. I would end the night with listening to music somewhere or even Dancing!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have so many colleagues that deserve recognition. However, the one who was there from the beginning was Tanya Patron. She was so sweet.
