We had the good fortune of connecting with Vasilii Ponomarev and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vasilii, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I got my higher education in Finland, EU.
While I was studying and assessing job opportunities for my degree (business data analyst),
quite quickly I realized that with the average salary and full employment
my earnings would not be sufficient to purchase a good apartment, travel and live a decent life.

At that time, the average salaries in Finland and in Europe in general for the specialist
in my sphere were around 3000 EUR, while a small studio apartment in Helsinki was 200000 EUR + or 1500 EUR monthly rent.

I came to the conclusion, that it is not the life I want to have.
I started looking for the occupation that would allow me not to be tied to the work place, that would provide high earnings and make me independent and free.

Forex trading gave me all what I desired!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am proud of the education and teaching that I provide absolutely for free for newbie traders.

I run a YouTube channel about Forex trading for 3 years, and apart from sharing luxury lifestyle and get rich quick schemes (like the majority of the YouTubers do), I am trying to show a real side of trading.
I share the strategies and techniques that proved to be efficient, while constantly warning my audience about high risks in trading and explaining how complicated full-time trading is.

I also write educational articles on my website and on tradingview (forum for traders and investors).
Some of them were read by more than 1.000.000 + of people!

I want to show people how much time and effort they should sacrifice in learning trading, to start making money.

For those, who want more teaching from me, they can become members of my Trading Academy, where I show how I analyze and trade financial markets LIVE every day, letting the members ask questions live during the sessions.

I also wrote a book about trading, explaining how to analyze the markets properly.

I receive dozens of thank you messages every day, and I am happy that I change people’s lives!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I got a country house in the north of Russia.
It is very close (1 min walk) to a wonderful lake called Onega.
In summer, I really enjoy SUP surfing during the sunset there.

There is no wind, and it is so quiet that you can even hear how birds flap their wings miles away.
It’s very calm, the water is like the mirror.

If you look at the horizon line that separate the lake from the sky,
at some moment, the line disappears.
You watch there and your mind starts drowning in the infinity.

I was in so many countries, I visited so many wonderful places,
but nothing can be better than this experience.

I want to give a credit to Jason Stapleton.
While I was studying in the university, I was learning Forex trading, watching his YouTube videos
and being a member of his coaching program.
He inspired me and made me believe that the life that I always wanted to live is achievable,
and he showed me the path to such a life.
