We had the good fortune of connecting with Vernice K Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vernice K, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It was 6:43 pm, August 22, 2016 I went through the most heartbreaking experience of losing my father. Who would have known that would change the trajectory of my life. Fast forward 3 years later I found myself with a complete new list of plans for my life. Time allowed me an opportunity to take inventory of the things that were most valuable to me and courage granted me the strength to release the things that didn’t bring me happiness, joy, and peace. And as I reflected on the day of my fathers passing I came to the conclusion he had slipped away from us in the middle of the day and not only had he not lived as fully as he had hoped my father also had taken all of his ideas, dreams, goals and visions to the grave with him. At that very moment! I vowed to help others remember how to dream and also to coach them into their best versions so they could actualize their ideas and dreams and take actions to first dream the dream then reach their dreams! It was then that I was given the next set of directions for my life. Hence the birth of 18 FortyThree which is the military time standard for 6:43 pm. Ultimately to become a better version of themselves today than they were yesterday allowing them to live a life full of joy, love, and prosperity in abundance.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is my extreme attention to detail and ability to push them to take action in achieving their own goals. I am the founder of a company that provides Personal Branding & Life Coaching Services to Entrepreneurs. My mission is to help them to find balance and clarity in their lives so they can impact the world with their gifts, talents, and purpose.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite place to take anyone is the beach and watch the beautiful view of the ocean and then take them to eat at Fingerlickin

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wanted to give a shoutout to all my friends and family for supporting and believing in me through it all. I would also like to give credit to my military service experience that gave me the skill of never giving up. All of these helped in backing me up through all the difficulties of life.
