We had the good fortune of connecting with Veronica Pezzo Russ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronica, how do you think about risk?
As an Italian new Real Estate Agent working in the competitive Miami market, I see risk as a necessary part of growth. Moving here in the United State three years ago, was a significant risk, but it pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me build a unique perspective and a new life from scratch. Taking risks has allowed me to connect with multiple persons, explore innovative marketing strategies we don’t have in Europe, and stand out in a crowded market. Every risk I’ve taken has taught me valuable lessons and opened up new opportunities, changing and improving my career in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart as a Real Estate Agent is my Multicultural background and my ability to connect with a diverse range of person here in Miami. I am proud of the trust I have built with my clients by offering personalized service and focusing on their needs. It was not easy getting here. Starting in a new country was challenging, but I overcame it by learning and staying adaptable. I have learned that resilience and building genuine relationships are key in this business. My strengths lie in trust, dedication, and offering a personal touch to every deal.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I would take her on an unforgettable tour of the Florida Keys, focusing on Key West, Islamorada, and Key Largo.
We would kick off in Key West with fresh seafood at Conch Republic Seafood Company and iconic key lime pie, my favorite dessert, of course! We would explore Hemingway’s Home, petting a lot of kittens, and then catch the sunset at Mallory Square, ending the day enjoying mojitos at The Rum Bar.
Next, in Islamorada, we would visit the History of Diving Museum, enjoying fish tacos at The Fish Company.
In Key Largo, we would start with breakfast at the Key Largo Conch House, spend the day snorkeling at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, and enjoy dinner at Mrs. Mac’s Kitchen.
Throughout the week, we would relax on the beach, soak up the sun, and indulge in delicious food and drinks, creating unforgettable memories together!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my better half, Lorenzo. He is the first person to truly push and encourage me to step out of my comfort zone and try to convince me to move here in the US. He always believed in my potential, even when I had a thousand of doubts. His constant support and motivation gave me the confidence to pursue a new career in Real Estate here in Miami. Without his encouragement, I might not have taken that leap, and I’m so grateful for the love and belief he has shown me. He deserves a lot of credit for where I am today.
