We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Molina and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Living life to the fullest is truly what makes me the happiest. I know that sounds very cliché, but that is because it is! When you are living life to your fullest potential, and know that you are doing your absolute very best, you feel better about yourself, which in turn, radiates onto those around you. I feel that I am my happiest when I am creating content that I know will either make someone smile, help them to be better in some way, or just if I am overall having fun creating it! Disney is my happy place, as it is an escape from the everyday drudgery, and so, I decided to create my content around what makes me happy! I also am at my happiest when I am spending time with my family and friends. I know, another cliché, but being surrounded by people who love and support you and what you are trying to accomplish in life, can only lift you up. At the end of the day though, only you, can make yourself feel happy. Happiness can’t come from anyone else, but rather, it comes from within. Just like my favorite Disney movie says, Beauty and the Beast, “True beauty is found within”. Well, true beauty is your happiness, and that shines from the inside, out!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being a rising influencer, micro-influencer or whatever you want to call it, is not always an easy task. Creating content takes time, money, and effort and truly can be seen as a full time job. Being that I studied Communications as my undergraduate degree, I understood the behind the scenes that goes into this field of work, even before I began posting consistently myself! I currently work a full time job as the Coordinator for Religious Education and Youth Ministry at Nativity Catholic Church located in Hollywood, FL. I also teach Irish Dancing through the Breffni Academy of Irish Dance which is located in Miami Shores, FL. On top of working those two jobs, I also am a full time Ph/D student at St. Thomas University, located in Miami Gardens, FL, and am planning my wedding to my amazing and handsome fiancé, Mr. Jordye Alou. All of these tasks, jobs, or events can be overwhelming at times, but I have always been taught that I can do anything that I set my mind and heart to, as well as the fact that God never gives us more than we can handle. So, I am finding a way to balance all these different parts of my life, and am blessed to have my family’s support in doing so. I have learned that life will always have its up’s and down’s, it’s how you get through each one that makes you the person you are. The journey always seems to be forgotten, but without the journey, you would not have gotten as far as you have, and so, I have learned to appreciate each day for what it is, even if it may not be the best day, because at the end of the day, it is taking me to a great, big beautiful tomorrow!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Although I love Walt Disney World, and would love to take all of my best friends there, I also love my hometown. Hollywood, FL, is a very underrated city, in my opinion. It is smack in the middle of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, which makes it very convenient in traveling to either of those major cities. I also am located right in between two major high ways, so I am able to travel at a quick and efficient time frame. After a long work week, I love to be able to go to Hollywood beach and just relax either on the sand or to walk on the broadwalk, with the smell of the ocean breeze, and watching the sunrise on a beautiful beach morning. I also really enjoy that there are so many wonderful choices of restaurants to eat at. My favorite would have to be Latitudes located at the Hollywood Beach Marriott hotel, then Florio’s Italian Restaurant, also located on the broadwalk, and then there are also delicious options within the Margaritaville hotel as well. A great activity to do besides eating on the beach, is going jet-skiing, or riding bikes. Both are available to rent, and are an awesome time! You truly can never be bored while exploring Hollywood Beach, as there is always something to do, whether you’re just realizing or going on a new adventure! It definitely is my go to location when I am not in Walt Disney World.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and fiancé are the reason behind my success thus far. My parents have always told me that as long as I know that I am doing my very best in everything I do, then I should be proud of myself and how far I have come. My fiancé has supported my love of Disney and dancing since the day I met him. He always made an effort to be at my dance events and then even found his own love for the Disney parks. When we started going as a family more often, both my parents and fiancé shared in the enthusiasm for me to start posting about my experiences, my love for Disney fashion, and incorporate my love of dance as well! If it were not for them sharing my posts, interacting with my stories, helping me to come up with content ideas, as well as even getting into some of my videos, I don’t think I would be growing as quickly as I am, or even have as much confidence within myself as I do now. They are my support system, my backbone, the people behind the magic in front of the camera. I will forever be grateful to them for all that they do, and although this is all for me, I do all of this for them too, so that maybe one day, I can help support them, the way that they have always supported me and my dreams.
