Meet Vincent DeMarco | Filmmaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vincent DeMarco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vincent, what do you attribute your success to?
The most successful factor behind my business and the success of my brand is all God! I became a Christian and saved in 2005. I started doing acting and modeling which we’re both passions of mine. As I was growing in the faith I was learning about what was my purpose in life? I started asking the one who created me (God) and in 2011 He told me to start a production company. I looked at going to Full Sail and it was around $120K at the time and I wasn’t able to afford it so I put it off. God kept pressing me to start a production company so I charged a camera on my credit card and started DeMarco Films in 2012. Since then we’re an award winning company and He’s opened every door for me. I’ve never been to film school so when people ask what school did I go to I can point them to God. We just celebrated ten years!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’d say the thing Im most proud of is my testimony of how God works my life. I started this business with nothing, no money, no schooling and have an award winning business and have worked with high profile clients all thanks to Him! I mean literally these past ten years I’ve never reached out to or marketed myself to work with some big names. He’s opened up doors for me that I still pinch myself to see if Im dreaming. It definitely wasn’t easy though. I had to put my hands to the plow and work. I noticed every year would be harder but better as I went. When God saw He could trust me with a little at a time He gave me more a little at a time. Of course I always wanted to be further ahead but God said don’t give up on His timeline for my deadlines. I would want people to know based off of my story that God has a purpose for you and to trust his timing. He’s a miracle worker and if your obedient to His will for your life you will succeed. Remember were just passing through we need to be Kingdom minded always!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Family and friends love coming to visit me, I mean I live in the number one tourist destination in the world, Orlando Florida, When they do come we would go to the theme parks or International Drive which has tons of restaurants and amusement rides. There’s just so much to do in Orlando!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost I want to shout out God because without Him I wouldn’t be here. Next my beautiful wife Christina. She’s been so supportive of me and my business, she encouraged me to leave my full time job that I was working for 13 years and go full time with my business. She’s my biggest fan and Im blessed to have her in my life! Another shout out is to my day one Chrissy. She was with me for almost ten years as my right hand with DeMarco Films. She put in countless hours and believed in the vision God had for this company. DeMarco Films is where we are today because of her hard work and dedication. Lastly I want to shout out all the crew that has worked along side me even if it was for a small season and all the clients that trust us with making there vision a reality.
