We had the good fortune of connecting with Violeta Rocha and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Violeta, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson that my career in Real Estate has taught me is the value of adaptability. The real estate market is constantly shifting-whether due to changes in how we do business, economic changes, interest rates, or even shifts in buyer preferences-and it is crucial to stay flexible and responsive to those changes. I’ve learned that success in this industry isn’t about sticking to a single strategy but about continually learning, adjusting and finding creative solutions that fit the moment.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The real estate industry is a relationship driven business. I believe that being genuinely helpful and always keeping the best interests of the clients at the forefront is what sets me apart. It is what makes my career in real estate truly fulfilling. Listening to clients, understanding their needs, and providing meaningful guidance has been the foundation of my work.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were coming to visit Miami for a week, I’d have no trouble showing them an amazing time, because there’s truly so much to do and see in this vibrant city. From great food to exciting attractions, Miami has something for everyone. Here’s what I’d recommend:
Where to Eat:
• Vice City Pizza: If you’re craving a slice, this is definitely a top spot. Their pies are amazing, and it’s a local favorite for a reason.
• Sushi by Scratch: For sushi lovers, this place is a must. The chef’s tasting menu is an unforgettable experience, and the quality is next-level.
Where to Drink:
• Hillstone: This place has a great atmosphere, and I love their cocktails. It’s perfect for a relaxed evening out with friends.
• The Rooftop at Mamey: If you want to take in the stunning views of the city while sipping on a drink, the rooftop bar at Mamey is a fantastic choice. The vibe is upscale but laid-back, making it ideal for a sunset drink.
Where to Visit:
• The Frost Museum of Science: If you’re into museums or science, the Frost Museum is a must-visit. It’s interactive, educational, and has an amazing aquarium. It’s perfect for a day out with friends or family.
Where to Hang Out:
• Miami has endless outdoor options, like South Beach, Wynwood Walls, and Little Havana. You can explore art galleries in Wynwood, enjoy the vibrant energy of South Beach, or take in the local culture with a stroll through Little Havana. Each of these neighborhoods has its own distinct flavor and vibe, making them great spots to hang out and explore.
Honestly, Miami is such an exciting and dynamic city, and the fun never stops. Whether you’re dining, drinking, or visiting one of the many iconic spots, there’s always something new to experience!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people that have supported me along the way. My daughter, my family, my boyfriend, my colleagues at Lifestyle International Realty and my Clients-without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today in this industry. Their constant encouragement and their unwavering support means the world to me.
