Meet VIRGINIA SAIACH | Designer and founder of Fansy by Virginia Saiach

We had the good fortune of connecting with VIRGINIA SAIACH and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi VIRGINIA, what do you attribute your success to?
I am totally sure that behind the succes there is more than one important factor, but if I have to think in the most important behind my Brand its the originality. The attraction effect and distinction of each Fansy piece creates an strong identity, making hard find something similar in the market.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an Argentine Fashion Designer, I started working on my brand since three years ago.
What set me apart from others is that I create my collections with unconventional techniques and materials, thus providing unic and versatile pieces.
Each garment is made completely by hand though a very detailed work found in every garment being one of the most important added values of the brand.
I work with the slow fashion, my collections are timeless and coexist with each other. over time I add new pieces and lines to these collections playing with new colors, forms, styles and details.
I do not support the fast fashion, I like to create pieces that do not go out of fashion quickly and that can be part of your wardrobe for years. I didn’t follow a fashion when designing but I created it.
My collections are inspired by a world of Goddesses and Fairies creating eye-catching pieces where beauty and shine are the protagonists.
Fabrics achieved through interweaving different stones, make up the Fairy Tale Collection, wich has a luxury line made of crystals and a resort line where fabrics are created from interweaving wooden beads, also crystals combined with wooden beads creating garments that customers can wear during day or night, for a party or even to the beach, are really versatile.
To create The Goddess Collection, the technique used is the hand assembly of small pieces by means of small rings. I design the molds by computer, wich are laser cut to obtain each piece to be assembled.
As a brand Iam interested in caring of the environment, providing reusable packagings, to transmit to my consumers the importance of a change of consciousness. Also behind the scenes all the plastics that can be generated during the production are separate and taken to recycling. I want a clean company, hoping to foster a clean wordl.
what am I most proud of or excited about?
well, what Iam most proud about its that just after three years of career I went far.
1) Have expanded the brand in different countries and see how people from different cultures like and wear the brand. (Iam also excited to continue expanding the brand in different places).
2) Be published by different fashion magazines around the world like Vogue Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Essence, Marie Claire, Instyle, among other.
3)being part of different fashion projects and events.
4) having clients from all across the world.
5) Creating beautiful and different garments.
All of that makes me excited!
I arrived where Iam after lot of work, Iam constantly learning, lot of things, I can say, sometimes its easy, others its not, but the secret is in never give up, trust in your self, adapting to the changes, being strong, giving the best of you, work with passion, do what you love, rest when you need it and trust the process.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are lot of beautiful places to visit at Miami, but a few that I can recommend if you want to have a dinner in a beautiful place are: Versace Mansion, swan miami, 1hotel, Delano and Sexy Fish Miami and Faena Hotel. For art, shopping and restaurants: Miami Design District.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
well.. there are two realities, one is that you can’t do anything just by yourself, you will need other people´s talent and support to create things, and the second reality is that everything is up to you, you have to be thankful with yourself for have the courage of start a project, to believe in you, and never give up. So, I dedicate my shoutout first to my father that since Iam a kid supported my talent, to my family, to my work team that makes that beautiful pieces come alive, to my Miami team skep360, to Vogue Magazine that shared to the world my work, to all the fashion media and stylists around the world that believe and love my work and asking me to work together, to the customers who choose me, to the stores that opened their doors to my brand, and at last and not less important to me that I made all these things happen.
