We had the good fortune of connecting with Waldo Arias and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Waldo, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I have developed as a photographer, graphic designer and producer for years with perseverance so that my photographic work can be seen in 4 exhibitions
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have various exhibitions and competitions such as Art Basel, Art takes new york and photo expos around the world. This art photography is a retelling of 50 years of cuba turning away from the world. These Pictures have been taken from the 90’s (some photographs were taken with a SLR camera have the textured grain style). Others with DSLR.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
visit Calle Ocho in Miami such as Old Havana restaurants or take a walk along Ocean Drive to enjoy the atmosphere and show of the 50’s in Havana 1957
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
my Family (my sons, mother and my wife), my mentors like Armando Huesca, Edgardo Carulla and my friends Nilo and Javier I learn a lot on the way
